Coral Tank from Canada (1350gal Display Tank) - split

Just threw out my laptop and am ordering a new one with widescreen and HD capabilities.

Those videos are amazing and it's great to watch it in real-time and to be able to see the subtleties of the tank.

That was my hope when we did this thing..... no, not to get you to buy a new laptop although this new Macbook Pro is impressive. A wee bit small 15" but the HD picture sure goes a long way to make up for the size drop.

Thanks for the recognition.....

Awesome videos, can't wait to see more on a range of topics, if that's what you plan to do. I've been watching this tank for a long time, can't get over how cool it is. I love seeing the tank from further back in the room in some of your videos, looks very impressive. Peter, I noticed much earlier in the thread that you have a home theater room. Do you feature that on any HT websites? I'd love to check it out. Also love the wine tasting room in your basement. You have great taste.

Peter and Team,

I am at the loss of words...

The videos were well worth the wait as always.

Now we just need the promised recap of the equipment and the auxilary tanks as your tank has stepped in to the next level of its existence (I mean the abandonment of fish quarantine systems in favor of coral propagation ones...)

See thats what happens.......give em an ounce and the want a gallon. Mr. Wilson will have to speak up on the details..........

Thanks....the next three episodes are on Lights, Flow and nutrition ......

Peter, do you think the Brothers Grimm can make it out to Tucson once a week?

Great video and continually an inspiration!

Peter,

Hope you didnt get it the wrong way. What i meant was all your updates are very interesting and as i am sucker for reefkeeping equipment, i am waiting for the aforementioned update very much...

Love the new videos, you have set new heights for us to achieve with your reefkeeping.
One thing we have in common with mine and your tank is the ORHEKS,I love their lights.

Thanks Haksar. Yes I too like the Orphek lights. I am planning on updating my lights with some new technology from Orphek in the near future. This evolution never ends!!!!

Thanks for the compliments and the support. I was very active on the AVS forum at one point (before starting this aquarium project) but I haven't been back in a long time. Its hard maintaining all the networks on all my interests. I am very pleased with my HT right now so I think it will be a while before I start any new projects in that sphere.

Great videos. I have watched them at least twice. I would like to know what kind of fish are those that stay verticle?

Thank you very much. I have to admit I watched them myself more than once. Its funny I see something different in the videos that I'm sure I miss even with the real thing.

The vertical fish are called 'shrimp fish' and are probably the most unusual fish in the tank. They are supposedly difficult to keep in high flow tanks and tanks with a lot of wrasse. I have both and they seem to be doing very well.

For those who need/prefer to watch Peter's most excellent video episodes in lower definition please note that all are now available on YouTube as well as Phanfare. On YouTube you can search for "peter's fish tank" to bring all of them up.

Cheers!

Dave, who is our official web site manager deserves a public thank you for his help in setting up the videos on the RC thread, web site and you tube for all of us to enjoy. We probably ate up his bandwidth allotment for the next year. Thanks Dave, we really appreciate your help.

How can I go about viewing your HT on avs forum? Sorry to be annoyingly persistent here, but this tank is on such a level that I'd love to see what you've done in the HT realm. I remember seeing a photo you had on here during the renovation which was of the hallway leading to the theater, what a tease! :lolspin:
