Coral Tank from Canada (1350gal Display Tank)

Hey Peter sorry I have been MIA for some time. I have been working on my own dream tank. I upgraded my 90 gallon to a 180 gallon, although I have had a somber couple of days with it. After a successful upgrade ( I thought) all my corals, inverts, clams are doing great. As of this morning though I have lost the remaining of my fish. I can't seem to figure out why but some sort of virus wiped them out very very quickly. It sucks when you put so much into something to expand your hobby and you end up loosing what you had before you get a chance to expand. Its great that your taking this so seriously and planning it so perfectly. This way your tank is bound to be a huge success. Anyways back to the drawing board for me. I suppose I can't be to down all my inverts are doing great.

Good to see you back.........sorry to hear about your fish.

Peter

man look what i started :)

Peter,
I see loose electrical cords and RO tubing without cord clips, 90 degree turns, or cable ties. Please tell Mr. Wilson that he's slipping.:D

Nice fish room shot. I love the stainless sink and recessed lighting. Can you show a picture of the dam that you've installed to prevent floods from exiting the fish room? Did you raise or cut the door?

We cut the door. That was a lot of fun as it was a solid core.......

Thanks for your continuing support.

Peter

there was a picture of him awhile back playing pool.

We really do need just a pictures and brief description thread of this build.

Peter,

Looks awesome! You must be so pumped! I remember how thrilled I was when I did the aquascaping and filled my last upgrade.

If you are like me, you will be running to the tank many times today just to look!! Even when not necessary. (Wonder what the over/under is). I say 25. (No work, mind you.... just to look)

Very excited for you and the team!

I've earned my wings stacking rocks, it's time to pass the torch to the next generation :) I've been glueing so many pipes that the fumes would effect my judgement.

The fish room and tank architecture is coming around really well. It's rare to get this far in a project and know you haven't made sacrifices and compromises. We lost some life on the rock in the delay and process, but it will bounce back in no time.
