ChingChai,

Come to MACNA, so we can all not drink bad wine together. Clearly this would be business travel (advance scouting for your epoxy export/import operation.) :)

Very much looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow.

Been following the thread for a while and my favorite part is definitely the T-rex. :lolspin: I won't be able to come tomorrow night, but I can't wait to meet you guys at the booth! :D

Hi Peter, Hi Mr.Wilson

Sorry for stopping by so late to say hi. I think you are helping a lot of people by providing all this amount of quality information that is usefull to everyone including me. So thank you for this thread.

Last night I realised I should come and congratulate both of you in person when I found out about MACNA. Is a 15 hours flight but I think is worth it to meet people like you.

I will go now because I only have three hours to sleep before the long flight to Orlando.

Wow! If you really make it to the show I will be honoured to answer any remaining questions you have about aquariums :)

Okay, I'm packed time to sleep...

The only update worth keeping me up longer is that we got one of the Venotec Abyzz pumps going. It's running on the return from sump in place of the noisy, leaking 1 HP spa pump that was drawing 975 watts according to my meter.

The new pump is dead quiet. You can't tell it's on without touching it. We have it dialed down to about 50% power with the built-in control, so the valves are now fully open. The heavy duty silicone tubing and stainless steel clamps look and work great. I can't wait to set up the other four pumps on the closed loop when I get back. I even have a German speaking assistant for the programming of the master controller for all of the pumps.

See you at MACNA (GHL booth).

Ok I've slept, now its time to pack. Limo picks me up in 15 min. :lmao:

See all who can make it in front of the registration desk at 7pm, if not before. Mr. Wilson is flying through the center of the hurricane so no one really knows just where and when he will land........

Good Luck Mr. Wilson!!!

Peter

I really wish I could attend MACNA this year just to meet many of the regular (or irregular) posters in this thread. But it can't be so.

Have a great time, if it's your first MACNA, you will enjoy it!

It's fish geek heaven!!

But I can't find decent excuse to tell my boss(mother).:sad2:
Maybe not this year but the year later, I will make it happen.

Not much happens till tonight - so perhaps I'll go find a tiki hut poolside for a cocktail :)

Macna 2010

Andytripa, we will definetly look forward to meeting you at the MACNA. We shouldn't be too hard to find. If you make it Thursday night please join us for dinner. Everyone should be meeting at the main registration desk in the hotel lobby of the Marriott at 7:00 pm.

Peter

Peter thank you so much for the dinner invitation. I left home 19 hours ago and now I'm only in Detroit where I lost my connecting flight to Orlando. It's 4 pm and next flight to Orlando is at 5:30 pm so probably I will arrive at about 8-9 pm.

Geeez - I am sorry to miss this opportunity to meet everyone and share some fisf geek heaven at MACNA - have a great time everone...

Andytripa,

Peter had indicated in an earlier post that he would leave information at the front desk for any late arrivals.

I'll also PM you my cell...

Thank you so much for dinner Peter! The wife and I had a great time and the food was delicious, about to go eat my desert now. It was great meeting everyone and wish we could have stayed for MACNA. Have a great time and take lots of pics and will talk to you when you get home.
Thanks,
Terry

Thank You.

Thank You.

Peter,

Thank you for a wonderful evening. Dinner and the conversation was thoroughly enjoyed. It was a pleasure meeting you, Mr. Wilson and everyone that had an opportunity to attend.

Let me know when you and Mr. Wilson are ready for that trip the Tropicorium :)
