How many shrimp fish did you count?
I believe I counted six. Darn, now that I stare at them even more there may be seven. That would put my count up to eighteen!

Very good Dave. You might be a good evaluator for this next fish update. Any ideas, feedback would be welcome. This is mainly a fish update but there are a few FTS for the thread community. I think the colours are very accurate........finally! At least its close to what you and I might see in person.

After the slide show starts move the cursor and select 'Full Screen". I think it shows better but I'm not sure how to make that the default aspect ratio.

Also Dave, be forewarned its long.....about 250 shots so make sure you order a pizza first.

Finally don't tell anyone till you think its ready..........we'll just keep this as a secret.

ps. very good on the fish count!! More on that later......

Peter, no need to select full screen. This came up full screen right away. Also, I have the full control panel at the bottom of my screen. If it disappears I just have to move my cursor a bit and it reappears. This allows me to Pause/Play, Mute Sound, etc.

I had too much sticky rice at dim sum to even contemplate pizza for at least 24 hours <erp!>. ;)

I guess after having watched this all the way through I find myself wondering, with all this stuff going on in the tank, would I ever remember to click the shutter? There seems to be so much activity all the time.

I notice that the green chromis are shoaling more now that you've added more large fish. Is that it for fish or do you still have more planned?

The only way to shorten a slide show like this is to start taking movies instead. ;) I have added it to the Galleries.

Great pics Peter..your tank is coming along nicely.
What do you feed the Moorish Idols. They look healthy and well fed.

WOW ! Peter i am so impressed the aquarium is looking amazing , well done on fattening up the idols now success will be measured in how long you can keep them healthy and thriving but so far it really does look good!

good job for the whole team !

Wow Peter. I've had a few Canadian "pops" tonight, but seeing those Moorish Idols together just sends chills down my spine. Such a powerful sight and wish you all the best with keeping them strong and healthy. Beautiful sight my friend.

One fine slide show thank you. The photography lessons sure did not go to waste great depth of color and clarity. Music was well done also.

Thanks very much Dave. The truth is for the first time since I started this whole project I have experienced the reef getting ahead of me. Things are happening without my intervention. The reef is evolving and growing and in some respects holding Mr. Wilson and I at bay. More on this process later........

I think we will be very very particular on any new fish entering the ecosystem from this point on.

Thanks for the add to the gallery. Let me know the next time you are in the neighbourhood.

Thanks Haksar, The Idols have been eating everything we give them from live baby shrimp, frozen brine shrimp, Mysis, flakes and various forms of algae similar to seaweed.

Kinlayan, thank you. I think I have learned a great deal from my experience with the Idols so far but its late so I will reserve a much more involved discussion until I have more energy.

Definitely a beautiful tank... In a few years when I sell my house (maybe 15 years) and then build a new one, I plan on using this thread as a guide.
