I know some of you will open this anyway even though it's not for you. Not to be a complete waste of your time, here's a video of a Tunze 6055 nanostream making waves in a 120 gallon tank. :)

I just added some sugar to help lower the nitrate and phosphate. :lmao: Just kidding! Thanks for the comps. though. You're welcomed to come and see it after it grows in. Right now, it's just a tank-o-frags.

Nice waves.....

My new wave system (aquasurf and 2x 6101) is making more end to end type waves on my 120 (one end up while the other is down) Its kind of scary when you get a volume of water moving like that but the corals are lovin it. I have noticed that the polyps are out ALL the time now. It will be interesting to see what the long term effects will be.

I got seasick just watching that. Nice wave action Sone...and here I am happy with getting a nice ammount of surface agitation from my powerheads hehe.

With the tank being braceless, I didn't want to create too big of a wave. I think I have just about the right amount of wave I'm looking for. I have also noticed good polyp extension as well.

Ryan, you got seasick because you're a wuss! J/K! Just keep your water moving, that's more important than waves. I think waves are a luxury and not a necessity.

I'm not a wuss...my powerheads are the wusses!!! Take that back Sone!

I have mine on timers so that they alternate flow. My Xenia love it so much that they are spreading hehe.

I'm not an Indian giver so no, I can't take it back. :lmao: Well at least you didn't p00p yourself from watching it. Ha ha ha!

I may have...but I'll never tell!

OK I would...so I didn't.

Maybe once it grows in a bit then I'll be suitably poop inducing impressed...

first, sweetest tank in the world were do you find one like that. also what is the purpose of the wave maker is it for water movement underneath the wave kinda like a power head
