coralife aqua tongs vs. aquatic gardener

So, I want to get some tongs so I can touch up my aquascaping if things fall, right a snail, whatever, without going up to the shoulder in the tank. I'm looking at dr fosters and they have the two items mentioned in the thread title.

The coralife is only a set of tongs and is more than twice as much as the aquatic gardener, which also includes a scissor attachment for clipping plants.

Does anyone have any experience with either or both of these items? Maybe someone can explain a good reason why the coralife is worth the extra cost?

aquatic gardener doesn't open very far..i have them and can't use them to pick up rocks...just thin objects.
