Coraline outpacing my SPS

Cloakerpoaked - i think I shoudl have been clearer about the regression of the slimer - it really was on the plug - where it had pretty much encrusted the entire frag plug, but now covers 2/3 of the plug (with the other section white - almost like a snow plow in the tank came by and scraped it).

I can't imagine it is bleaching because why would it bleach one section and not the rest

Yeah, I understood what you meant. A green slimer was the first sps frag I had and I never had a problem with the encrustation of the plug regressing backwards toward the frag itself. As a matter of fact, the 3 frags of it that I had for sale in another thread were upshoots from the frag plug itself. I probably have about 10-15 small slimer pillars growing up from a single disk. The starter frag itself hasn't gotten a whole lot larger, but the rest just keep on going and going. The only thing I can figure is that something is killing it off, and the most likely culprit seems to be the goby if all your water params are in check. Otherwise it's just a disease, and you gotta hope for the best...
