Coralline Orange Good or Bad

I have orange coraline but like fijiblue said its on the underside of my rocks where no light penetrates.

fiji blue, when coraline algae dies, doesn't it turn white?

and as for orange algae, i have some spots that look deep maroone unde 14,00k lighting, but under full actinic they qare neon bright orange.

i dont know about the disease, but i have had this bright neon orange one for a littl while, and am growing it pretty nicely, if i ever growi t to quarter size, i will post a pic.

I know you asked Fiji, but yes it does turn white

I had some orange coralline on some of the rocks in my 30g. It was definitely coralline but it wasn't a very vibrant orange. It only developed on the high light spots, the purple/pink coralline took over all the shaded areas.
