Corals are amazing

I had a tank crash while on vacation last fall that wiped out most of my euphyllia corals. I usually leave the skeletons in the tank in case something happens or I need something to mount a frag on later. Well this hammer that I had given up for dead 7 months ago is sprouting new baby heads all over the skeleton - pretty amazing. You can see three of them in this crappy cell phone picture.

I had already used the skeleton to mount an acan and a digitata, so it'll be interesting to see how long before I have to move those frags to another spot.

And now I regret pulling the skeleton out. Guess it's too late to stick it back in lol

U never know. In the zeovit forum I saw pictures of a dead coral skeleton that he had out of water for 2 months and the sps came back to life after setting up his tank again and using some what he thought were dead corals in his aquascaping. Took a year but he had pictures of it coming back to life. Crazy I know
