i bought a 6" adult few months ago. i was attracted by its beautiful coloring. in the first month i thought i have made a mistake.
it went on redecorating my rubble area right away. flipping every single piece upside down looking for food. when she finished that area she dig herself under the big piece which she can not move creating a sand storm...not good.
she eats all the fresh food, mysis, clam, chopped shrimp... but her favorite.. garden worms. it was quite fun watching her eating those big live worms with gusto.
she eats a lot, always looking for food. after 8 weeks she start accepting flakes and the sand storm activity has decreased to minimum. she holds her own not aggressive to any fish. she sleeps under the sand.
so far i have notice most of my baby snails is gone but the bigger ones and red leg hermits is still around. she did not touch my cleaner shrimps.
surprisingly, it actually turns out ok for me.
