your tanks dosnt look like its ready for corals
you have a ton of algae all over
you have a highlight coral at the bottom of a mid light tank
the white cloudy stuff shows up alot on import but is easily delt with by having decent flow and good water quality
do you use tapwater for top off?
tell abit about the tank and you may be able to save it
give all teh stats. ca levels ph alk and phosphates. being the major ones
but if i was LA i would definitly not take the hit on this one
move the coral up and into a higher light area and give it better flow. but it may be to late
I don't know why you think I have a ton of algae all over from a few pics showing one rock.
Here is a full tank shot, taken a few minutes ago.
You can see red algae throughout most of the tank, but it's not particularly invasive, or hard to remove. Infact, it's really easy to get off. It looks nice, in my opinion, and I can't see how it's hurting anything... it's not like my tank is covered in cyano or anything.
I have a seio and a hydor koralia two.
I don't use tapwater... I use milli Q water from my mom's lab.. TDS of zero.
The coral isn't on the bottom.. it's in the middle.
ammonia/nitrite are zero
sg is 1.026
nitrates are 10-15ppm
ca/alk/mag I haven't tested in a while.. having only a ricordia (which is doing great) it seemed like a waste.
Phosphates are, admittedly, slightly high but its some pretty big news to me if you're gonna say that's whats killing my coral.
