Could This be a Magnifica?

BTW, for anyone that wants it, this is the store that has it in:

Tropical Island Aquarium
2112 Deer Park Avenue
Deer Park, NY, 11729
(631) 667 0795

Disclaimer: I don't work for them nor have I ever been there, I just figure I give everyone a fair chance to get such a beauty that is not commonly seen in this color morph.

If you get it, let us know how it's doing!

I just called :bounce1::bounce1: but didn't pull the trigger. gotta check in person to make the final decision it's a mag or crispa

basically i agree its a mag

Well hell, just called to see if they would ship it all the way back here to Oregon. No go.

I called and see if they shipped but no go. I would get both of the anemones in picture. It looks like a fairly healthy Magnifica and a very healthy Gigantea to me.

Now I see. The Gigantea and the mag in the last picture is not from the fish store. I use my phone to read these so I did not get to see the whole page

is this a mag guys? this is a different one from a different vendor.

i was told its blue, purple and green

IMO, the anemone Pinkskunk posted can be either a BTA or a Magnifica. Tentacle shapes can be very misleading especially when they are stressed.
Sometime i can tell if there is fain a white color just below the tips or bubble just below the tip. Other than that I need to see the mouth. BTA will have white lines radiated from he mouth.
As the picture about, there is no way to tell for sure. Maybe 60/40 lean toward BTA vs Magnifica. I do not think that anemone can be anything else other than Mag or BTA (it has purple column)

i guess they just found the sweet spot in the sea

here's mine in ht. seems to continue to improve. its base is orange and purple. bi-color possibly indicates a split

I find the tentacle shape particularly interesting for a mag. Still looks like a giant crisps to me :o
