Country Living Pet Store

Stopped in to see Ryan at Country Living Pet store today and man was i impressed. First off I never knew this place existed so it was good having another option only 5 minutes from rt. 9 in Malta. Anyway the saltwater part of the store has 2 large frag tanks filled with a variety of corals. Kind of something for anyone espcially SPS and zoo lovers. Prices are very very good and he gives 10% off livestock if you are from the club. Worth the extra 15 minutes North if you are at eddies IMO.

Side note. If anyone is looking for a Large Crocea clam he has 1 left @$65. Good deal

Drive down RT.9 from Malta. Take your left onto 67 down by the lake. Follow that until you get to Central AVE in Mechanicville and take a right. Store is right there.

I stopped in on Saturday myself and was very impressed - got a chance to meet Ryan and he is a really nice guy. I was amazed at the amount of extra frags that had been added to his tanks in only one week. I picked up a nice piece of hydnophora while I was there as well as a frag of plate montipora that Ryan shared. Definitely worth the trip.

I stopped in last week with Dan and we chatted to Ryan for a bit, he gave us each a NICE sized frag of a brownish monti cap (super nice of him) He does have a nice selection for only having the two 65 gallon tanks, if you havent already, I'd stop in and say hi, Ryan's a pretty cool guy :)

I should also note that if he doesnt have something you want at the time, he's willing to get it for ya (cant beat that) :)

I just wanted to mention; It wasn't my intention to take any customers away from TONY @ Swamp bottom when I started this thread. I just wanted to inform people of my expirence. Hopefully this doesn't get taken the wrong way.

Who would give you that assumption? Its constructive;) There's nothing wrong with promoting good experiences here... Competition is always a good thing. I agree with you Tim. Ryan has something to offer. Doesn't hurt to check the place out.
