coupla' questions

I recently got an orange plating monti from YR and I'm not sure where I should place it. I have a 250w MH on a 30 gal. and the coral is placed at the top. I worried it might be getting too much. Also I have some triple orange zoos and they came on an old acropora skeleton. Will they spread faster of they are on an even surface?

Plating caps grow pretty fast and can go anywhere in your tank. I would reserve the upper part for other corals though. It will be just fine towards the bottom.
