Lighting: 2x400w Radiums on galaxy, supl by 2x Fiji purple , 2x Giessman SA

i am looking to try brightlite LEd Blue :)))

Ohh!! a 225 sorry please excuse the 120 insult! lol Custom size must have thrown my eye off, and that's gotta mean some of those colonies that I already though were impressive must be HUGE!

What are the specs on the dimensions? You get Elos through a canadian distributor?

PLease update this thread if this beautiful tank is still running. Would love to see updated photos.

Tank is still up and running.. I did loose some corals while trying bio-pellets about 7 month ago. I promise to update with new pics really soon. Just been so busy with newborn and work..

Congrats on the new born. It's good to know that the tank is still running. When you have the time a full update with photos would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Can you explain how you lost corals trying bio-pellets? I've had great success with the pha type of bio-pellets myself.

Looking forward to an update myself. :)

Hey Darryl,

i was using prodibio for longest and i desided to try bio-pellets..it was a mistake...week after i put pellets to a reactor i start getting massive Tn and some corals even rtn over night. Most hit was taken my deepwater acros, they rtn fast:(. my water params didnt change , nothing has been change to my tank with exception of adding PELLETS..I didnt have any bac bloom either..
so 4 weeks after and i had to take darnn pellets out!!! took other 4 weeks for tank to recover with a lots of water changes. Now, i am back with dosing prodibio + vinegar.
tank is back to normal.. But, i did loose some LE corals:(

will take some pics in a couple of days to update.

thankx

Man, that sucks. I am starting Prodibio as well. I am cycling my rocks with Biodigest and using Zeostart as the carbon source (I have it lying around so I might as well use it). So far without the use of any GFO I have managed to reduce phosphate from just above 0.03ppm to under 0.01ppm.

I used the Prodibio stuff on oe of my previous tanks and looking back at my notes, that tank did very well hence why I am going back to using Biodigest and a carbon source.

Hope it all goes better for you now on.
