Picked up a hippo and yellow from a guy tearing down. They were in great shape and are instantly at home in the 120.

Thanks - I love having a yellow tang - they keep the algae mowed, and I love the personality of the hippo. I've been contemplating the next fish and having my kids research. I think my 7 year old daughter knows more about what Live Aquaria has in available than I do. Any suggestions? I prefer something not too difficult, but colorful and good personality.
I have a DSLR: Canon XTi, which is several years old now, but it works well. Stock lens, nothing too great. I'd love to get a 100mm macro lens, but the bank account says otherwise...

One thing I've found with photographing my tank is that I always have to adjust the exposure down about a full stop, otherwise there is always blowout (too bright) in some areas.

I don't think CCDs in cameras are fully able to capture a hippo tang's color. My daughter says there nothing else in this world quite so blue, and I think she's right!

Added a Solorensis wrasse over the weekend. Anyone else keep one?
He's got a little dorsal fin nip, but I think he's going to do fine - eating very well etc.

Bummer, yeah having my canopy finished was a requirement. I lost a McKoskers a year ago or so and I'm still kicking myself.

My wife told me the other day that she saw the hippo jump out of the water. I've also read somewhere about some guy hearing his wrasse bouncing of of his VHO bulbs...

Cover up them tanks!
