couple questions for you

hey jason im interested in placing an order sometime after christmas to get everything i need for a new tank setup. couple quick questions though.

1. do you still offer the package for geo reactors?
2. im interested in 2 175W eballasts but i noticed on your site it said something about TV interference. this tank is going in my bedroom with my TV and computer (not directly next to either one though). how bad are these interference issues and is this going to be a problem in my case. i havent really seen any posts on the board complaining about it, but i thought i would double check with you.

Hi Brandon,

Yes, we still have the Geo package, just search for GEO1 on the website.

On the eballast, it's mainly RF noise, don't quote me on this tech stuff, because i could be wrong. Basically the frequency that the x10 controller (wireless) modules use and some TV remote control units, the ones that work through walls, etc. THe eballast can send out signals that freak these items out and make them thing it's time to turn on and off.

I haven't heard as much about it lately either though, so could be they are using some type of shielding on the ballast, or people just know not to try with Neptune, etc. I don't think the computer would be effected though and most likely the tv is okay, that one isn't real common, but the x10 modules seem to be.
