Cove's 220 Gettin under way

Yeah i keep wandering downstairs to check on him, hoping all is well. Its weird everything i have put in the tank seems to settle in almost as soon as they hit the water. The picture is good but the color in person captivates me. Best birthday present i have given myself in years!

The trigger is doing really well. He is playing nicely with everybody and seems to be not as spooky as before. He eats really well and has even been eating chunks of nori!! I guess he thinks he is a tang since he often follows them around.

Last fish added (at least tangwise)

Last fish added (at least tangwise)

Since i had to do a search to find my build thread i figured its time for an update. The trigger is really settling in for the long haul. His colors seem to improve weekly. I was worried about adding him but i am finding that it was a good decision. The Leopard wrasse is doing well, he eats everything i put in the tank. He does keep his own schedule though. Comes out of the sand an hour after lights on and forages all day and then dives back in the sand about an hour before lights out. Also to the mix i added a trio of female Lyre-Tail Anthias. They are somewhat smaller than the male i have had for 3 yrs. I have not seen any color change in the male yet, it may be due to the size or maturity level of the females. All three new Anthias are eating well and swim everywhere. They do shoal at times but mostly they are wandering sometimes in pairs. Now getting to the part that the title refers to. I had originally intended to add a Powder Blue Tang as my last fish, due to there attitude problems towards newcomers. Well i have been searching for a Naso tang for a while and finally found one that was in my price range. Also in the shipment that the Naso came in on was one of my favorite fish and also one that would be the last in the tank. Here is the new member of the gang with his slowly becoming best friend my Sailfin. They were at odds for the first 36 hours but have since mellowed out. Before it was nipping and tail wagging and crowding the new guy in the right side of the tank.

Here are the two together(not fighting)

And just for fun a couple FTS. Some may notice a missing acro, its resting in the frag tank after a fall to the sand bed.

Also finally got my DIY Lumenarc fired up on my frag tank. Here is a quick shot of it. Sean if you look close you can see your Hammer frag!!

The Heater is a winter thing for now until we get out of the single digit temps. I may be adding some foam insulation to the wall behind all the tanks just to help with controlling temp swings.

I had a feeling you were gonna say that!! If you had the 400 up i would have called you, but i figured it would be a while, so i snapped him up.

I have been wanting an achilies tang ever since i started in this hobby. I just haven't had the sack to order one yet. I hope he does well for you Mark. They are one of my favorite fish in this hobby.

Just noticed on the other thread that you had an Achilles, and had to check your thread to see when you added it. Definitely my favorite fish... great pickup.
