cpr bakpak 2. any good?

Ive got a 55 gal tank and im looking at picking one up on trade. It has a new pump. They any good? I might be trading a oceanic sump and brand new quiet one 4000 and over flow for it. Need some advice. Thanks

There are better options out there for your sized tank. I would look into the reef octopus hang on back skimmers. Don't skimp on your skimmer, you will just end up spending money again to upgrade down the line. Jmo.

Good skimmer, not equivalent to what you are trading though. Like Salty said, there are better and you can get a better skimmer for what you are trading.

I still have one I'm trying to sell off. I used it for a 55g. Wasn't bad. I don't know what really good skimmers for a 55g are like though. I have a much bigger skimmer for my 125g now.. lol.

I bought my bak pak 2 for around $50 used. I'm trying to sell it for around $40.
