cpr hangon fuge

I was in the living room and heard something leaking water came in and seem the refugium was over flowing with water.. i was wondering what would cause this? i used the pump that came with the refugium. if i don't have it turned all the way up then won't pump the water. so has this happend to anyone before.. i'm kinda scared now that this might happen again and next time i won't be here..

Something might be clogging the return pipe.

everything seems clear.. i had a huge snail that was cleaning it.. maybe he was cleaning the return pipe hole or something..

sounds like the snail got in the pipe blocking the water flow back into the tank

what do you guys use to clean your fuge walls.. small snails

I never cleaned my fuge walls. Thats were it suposed to grow to remove nutrients from main tank

Yeah i never clean mine either. I have 2 snails in my CPR
