In my 29 gallon I have a royal gramma, and yellowtail damsel with a pair of black ocellaris. Gobies, smaller blennies, hawkfishes, cherub angel or flameback would be my choices.

thanks- does that mean you don't recomend the grouping that you have or are they included in that list? Your guys all get along during feeding?

Yeah my grouping get along fine. Minor bouts with the clown and damsel but the female clown puts him in his place. Nothing really too worry about and they get along during feeding.

Orchid Dottyback pair or Firefish pair, or shrimp goby (Randal) with shrimp, or Trio of Royal Gramma, or Pair of Bangai Cardinals
Or a Cherub angel, or a Flame angel, or a Fireball angel, or a Midnigh angel.

I have a 30 g cube with a Onyx pair, one Orchid Dottyback and one tiny Midnight angel.

hmm flame angel looks cool and seems like it would work well with the color / size of percs.

anyone have experience with that combo?

Flame angel is very showy but not as graceful ad Cherub angel or Fireball angel. The best is a Midnight angel

I have a false perc and a flame angel in the tank right now. Those are the only two fish in my 46g tank and they do fine together. Feeding time the angel scares away the clown every now and then for food but they swim together at times.

my angel was put in first before my clowns and it is a bit aggressive them. never actually hurt the clown though

If you want an angel, either a Cherub or African Flame back (Fireball) angel. They stay small up to only 2 inches or so.
