What kind of filtration are you using and how long has this tank been setup? I don't see a hint of algea, the tank is so clean it looks brand new.

Ditto - this looks to be a really new setup.

so COOL!!
-- got gooseflesh...but is THIS really ethically right...even if we could do that??

from a comment of SeaFood:
Fluidized Bed Filter (600) x1
8 inches deep sand bed
160 LB dead rock
80 fish
Euro-Reef CS12-1 skimmer
Aqua UV 57Watts
No bio balls or bio rings
Water change every 12 days about 1/4 of volume and filter floss
Tempreture=27.5
NH4 NO2=0
NO3=5-10
Salinity=1.023
PH=8.2

Wow! What do you feed and how often? How often do you add critters to the sand bed? Do the angels fight or do the large numbers keep them in balance? What will you do when some of the fish get too large? How many, how often did you add fish to get to this number? Hope you don't mind so many questions.

Well, enough of the doomsday warnings guys!

Let's hear from him. what are his long term plans with this tank? what has worked? what have been the problems?

What thought process brought him to stock the tank like this?

Mar:rollface:

That is interesting how it worked out, but I question the potential hazards in the long term. If there is ever a disease outbreak (which occurs more often in heavily stocked tanks and any tank at one point or another), it would be very difficult to keep it under control.

Ok, people say i'm overstocked with my 210 with 260 gallons running threw it with

Queen angel
Blonde naso tang male
emperor angel
purple tang
red coris wrasse
stars and stripes puffer
zebra moray
flame angel
flame hawk

I haven't had much problems other then ich here and there.

Question is... how does this guy not have any issues with ich? bioload? agression? From what i see it looks very entertaining to watch but i'd like to know some more info

****************
I think this is a joke.

I seen this tank pictured on some internet article awhile ago. I'm pretty sure they were pictures from a store somewhere.

Judging by the number of posts this user has, I'd say it's a hoax.

I have a 58 gallon with:
1 ocellaris clown
1 yellow tang (4")
1 Bluethoat Trigger (4-5")
1 Yellowtail Damsel
1 Lawnmower Blenny
2 Threadfin Cardinals
2 Green Chromis
1 Striped Cardinal
1 Citron Goby
1 Six-line Wrasse

In Sump: (approx 30 gallons of water)
1 Snowflake Moray (very small)
1 Copperband Butterfly (tiny)
1 Lawnmower Blenny

People tell me I am nuts. Please reply and let me know for certain this is a joke. You've got me thinking. I 've been at this load for about 6 months and my tank is 10 months old. I change 15-20 gallons once per month and run carbon and an ASM G2 skimmer.

Whay don't I see the gallery link from my home PC, but at work I can? Can someone actually post the pic?
