Crazy Lookdown Got Stung!!!!

I have a large Lookdown who could not resist trying to pull a silverside away from a RBTA. Needless to say he got "smacked" in the mouth. He freaked out for a bit and now is swimming around with his mouth open.

Is there anything I can do to ease his pain? or is it a waiting game?

they look like this:

they are extremely thin, maybe about 1/8"-1/4" accross. they look like aluminum foil swimming around.

Yeah and they eat A LOT!!!! I have no idea where they put it.

It's a waiting game.
How long will it take for you to realize that a Lookdown and an anemone are bad tankmates?

It took me 2 years to have one incident so I don't think I will realize anytime soon. Thanks for your comment.

you had the Lookdown and anemone together for two years without previous incident?

Thats right (3 anemones). My tank is 400 gallons. I usually don't feed the anemones until I finish feeding the fish. This particluar occasion, I was feeding one of the anemones first.

The lookdown is huge too. He was fine after 10 minutes and I am pretty sure he won't do it again.

I take it none of your 3 anemones are Haddoni or magnificas... otherwise your Lookdown might be dead by now.
Hunger is a big motivator. It's unlikely the fish will learn not to try and steal food from an anemone if it's hungry.
I guess you'll feed the fish first from now on, eh?

That Lookdown is big. I doubt either an equad or M. doreensis can fatally hurt it.
Congrats on knowing those anemone names, BTW.
