Crazy Maroon from PNG

I think what they did was great. To give it to an experienced breeder rather than make what I'm sure would be a small fortune off from this clown shows that they get the big picture. There's probably a catch like BZ having the rights to be the first seller of any offspring but that's understandable and reasonable.

Edit:Nemo was an Occ. clown. This is a maroon...

Ya not the breeder that bought it hes not in this hobby to make money off designer fish at all hes out to make it easier to obtain quality tank reared fish. Hes not in this hobby to make money trust me i know him personally.

Matts a great guy with alot of great information everytime i talk to him i learn something new and want to start breeding fish just dont have the space or time. Maybe sometime in my life ill be able to.

Im not sure what he told you,but Im going to tell you fish breeding aint hard! The worst part IMO is getting the fish to breed! After that its simple!I still learn new things every day though!Like for example,Im breeding some Yellow Tail Damsels,I moved my eggs to hatch out,I greened the water before I moved my fry, waited for a few hours, and they never hatched.

My problem was I done something Ive never done before with this sp.I greened my water before I let my eggs hatch.Any othet time I didnt green my water befor ethey hatched they hached. So I still learn and will learn till I....well.....

From what I read, it sold for $5000. Which I guess seems inline if you consider the pricing of Snowflakes/Picassos, as far as the breeding potential for profit.

I LIKE it a lot. I'd definitely pick a pair up if they were decently priced (ie. $300-$400 a pair)

hook, line and sinker!

Very Impressed! The designer breeders can try as hard as they want. In my opinion the natural varients will always turn up with unparalelled beauty!
