yes there already is petsmart in vestal. petco will be in the same complex as the new christmas tree shop. as dave said right in the same plaza as toys r us. there sign says they will be opening in the winter of 08, so my guess would be in the next 2 months.

Id bet they are talking about the end of the year not the beginning. Spring summer fall winter. Even tho its actually winter spring summer fall winter. Here to hoping you are right tho.

I wonder how their salt section will be?!? I went to a Petco once,a nd all of their stuff was very ill looking (Ferrets, fish and reptiles). I guess it really comes down to individual stores though. I have read that some are good and others are awful. you'd think they would have some type of "franchise rules" to ensure they were all equally good (or bad).

I really wish things would pick up for my place! We really need a good place here, which I'm really going to strive for.
