My O.S. just ate a huge cricket and LOVED it!! She came out of her burrow begging for more!! Dr. Roy are crickets a safe food for a stomatapod? occasionally that is, not all the time? I keep chameleons as well and I keep the cricket container on top of the peacocks tank and some how one escaped and fell into her tank which is right next to my recliner and all of a sudden I saw her dash out of her burrow and grab it!!

Personally I've wondered about mice. Specifically pinky mice. You know the lil' babies without all that annoying fur :D

I would be afraid that feeding a Pinky would be a MESSY thing to do. Personally I can't even feed the snake a Pinky.

Well the thought came from a friend saying that my mantis isn't as cool as a reptile because it couldn't eat a mouse. I thought about it and decided it could, but it would be messy. Especially the hair. So the mouse would have to be a pinky and also the tank would need good filtration or a large water change/remvoal of uneaten food after. I probably wouldn't try it, but I have thought about it.....

I didn't think you were serious, but had to check. I had a bad experience feeding pinkies to my first Boa. I couldn't find any hoppers so I got three Pinkies. The first one, he struck and ate, but he figured out they weren't going anywhere so he calmly grabbed each one and slowly wrapped them up. To me it was a little disturbing.
