Crinoids???

Or feather stars...has anyone any experience with these? My wife and I were at an amazing LFS in Richmond, Va last Thanksgiving and they had some there. We were going to pick one up, but since we had a Val. Puffer in the DT at the time we didn't, in fear of it becoming an expensive meal.

Sooo...I'm heading dwn to Fl Thursday and will be driving home and would like to stop at that same store again.

As beautiful as they are, I do not know of anyone that has had success with them due to their specialized feeding requirements.

crinoids are one of those critters that need special care- lots of special care.

FWIW I think it's very kewl that you called them what they are: Crinoids
FWIW #2 sometimes you'll see them for sale at LFS's in Rochester
