Crocea darkening, losing intense coloration

I'm using 6500K and still very bright and I'm not using MH, my temp is around 80 to 83, I agree with mbbuna about the instensity of the lower K. My bulbs are 40W overdriven by an ice cap 660. My crocea it's been with me almost a year its about 4.5-5"

you equated them to SPS in the first few word of your last post,then you said later on that they are different.

I'm not being defensive, I'm stating facts. the clam in question was turning brown before the heater problem.

Well to be exact darkening, not turning brown.

FWIW my 4 inch Crocea is in a 40 Breeder under a 14K phoenix 150W about 14 inches from the light and looks great. It is bright blue with hints of green.
