Ive had a Crocea for 4 months or so that I recently noticed is infested with pyramid snails. I put him in a bucket of tank water and pulled all the snails I could get to. I will try to pickup a six line wrasse to help combat them.
Last night I noticed he was not in the same position on his rock, he was sort of tilted. Today I woke to find him completely off his rock and on the bottom of the tank. He made the jump and landed upright.
Do pyramid snails attack the clams foot? Do clams detach from their rocks when they are getting attacked? I just dont know what to make of it.
Ive been keeping clams for a few years and this is the first that Ive had problems with. Ive never had a clam detach from his rock. My other clams look ok and dont have any pyramid snails that I can see.
Thanks for any help.
