crocea jumping off rock info needed

my first crocea, (4 inch)I put him on a flat rock on the bottom of tank about 20 inches deep under 250 mh about 28 inches from the bulb he keeps jumping off, is he not happy with light..location?
I just put him on the sand today to see what happens....any info would be helpfull Thanks

if he keeps jumping off let him be and see where he would place himself and let him be.

put a few small rocks together under (about a half inch to an inch) ur substraight and place it in the center of the rocks and give it a week or so,when it grabs a rock u can move it up higher in the tank slowly,just a few inches at a time intill u get it where u want it

try to get a plate coral skeleton from your lfs and place it upside down under about 1/2" of sand. the clam should dig down and attach itself. best of luck.
