Crystallization of Red Sea Calcium Part A

I recently started using an Apex Dos and an Apex dosing reservoir. The Red Sea Calcium supplement is crystalizing. I this normal? Can I dilute it or will this change the concentration?

Thanks much.

Diluting it will change the concentration.

If it is just a little dusting of crystals I would probably ignore it. If there is a significant amount, like a layer of crystals at the bottom, then you might try heating it up a little and shaking it. Shake a LOT and really really shake.

Thanks for your insight. I appreciate the comment back.

It was significant crystallization, large 1-2" crystal structures forming. I placed some thick artists tape around the parameter of the lid of the dosing reservoir to cut down on evaporation.

If there's been much evaporation already, you might need to dilute the mixture some, but I agree with heating the liquid. If the crystals are large, I probably personally am too lazy to shake the mixture enough to redissolve them, but it might be easier than I'm thinking.

im having the same problem although i'm using the premixed red sea calcium i have no problem with the other additives. during the winter it tends to crystallize at room temp inside the bottle, if you slowly flip the bottle upside down you can hear the crystals falling in the bottle
