Cully's Double D's

Not that I know of. I believe the glue melts the PVC together. Suprising considering you used primer (looks like purple primer in the picture). I usually primer both ends, glue both ends and give a 1/4 turn while in.

Hopefully someone knows a way to avoid cutting out and redoing.

you can try "slobbering"some primer and glue on the outside of the joint but its on the pressure side and i would not rely on it for the long term . that suks man but i would suggest dipping into your pocket and getting some new parts ,ie. do over what has failed .

try using more primer and glue on your next endevour as you may have "dry joints" ? ..............................no you cant smoke them !

One setback after another.....

Ordinarily I'd laugh, but my son just crapped right through his onesie onto my shorts. What a friggin day! :headwally:

Sorry to hear about the day. Just step back, breathe, wash your pants, clean up your son, put the kids to bed, beer, sleep. New day tomorrow chief.

It get's better. Soon he'll be waking up from naps just to remove his pullup so he can pee and poop in his waste paper basket. When you ask him, "Why?", he'll say, "For I didn't want you to throw out this pullup. I like this pullup". Oh, and one more thing... he will soon be peeing on three of the four walls in your bathroom because, "It's okay if it's an accident". Chin up.

Ok! Back on track! Replaced the cracked sump tank and revised the plumbing. FW test #2 tomorrow. Gotta just finish up the emergency overflow/drain/SW feed plumbing first. Its all lined up, just need an hour or so that polish that turd.

Scored a Mag 18 for saltwater feed from the mixing vat in the back room, through the wall, into the sump. Using a Mag 5 for actual SW mixing in the vat to cut down on energy consumption.

SUCCESS! One small leak right at the pump, completely manageable. I'll be able to seal it up no problem.

More pics to come!

Mark great ta hear ,throw in some mortons and swish it around then add some fish and corals ! oh yes and if you dont have mortons you can just add some salt from your salt potatoes !
