Anyone else know any information about the Current USA Outer Orbit halides?? I saw some on ebay but could not find anymore information from Current USA's website.

Hi,

We have been debating on stocking this fixture. We can special order it anytime, but takes 2-3 weeks.

We do have a new Finnex hqi hood now that has hqi halides and T5 lamps, we'll have info on those very soon. They do not have moon lights, but that is something you could retro separate if you wanted. We also have the Coralife Hqi pro with powercompacts instock, but would recommend the Finnex.

Are there stands for this fixture or do you have to suspend them off the ceiling?

I believe they do include stands or can be hung. I just got word that they will be about a month before available though.

The normal retail price is $238.95, but we are offering some special prices for pre-ordered ones. I just got our packing list emailed though and they have backordered every unit except the 36" size. So only get 36" on this incoming pallet. Sorry about that. Looks like it might be a couple weeks for the other sizes. Not sure what happened.

Which item have the special order price of $214.95? Finnish complete HQI w/ T5? If so, I would like to pre-order. Also, Coralife came out with a clamp-on-tank HQI light that looks pretty neat.

The CurrentUSA with the halide/pc was the special order ones. We have Finnex hqi/t5 available if you are interested on one. Email us which fixture and we'll see if they have any deals going on.

By the way are the pre order prices still good on these orbit fixtures?

I was looking at the 150 hqi pendant...

By the way is it possible to get different lamps with those or they only come standard with a lamp and who's lamp is it...

Hi,

We just ordered the ESU clamp light, so probalby 2 weeks and we'll have those.

We can still get you a deal on Orbit's. The pendant has an electronic ballast on the orbit. The bulb or ballast really doesn't have a brand though. Made in China or Tawain. We could upgrade you to another brand bulb, only bad thing is with the packages, they only give around 25-30 dollars credit for selling without a bulb.
