Custom 210 gal. in-wall build with steel stand and DIY rock walls

Thanks everyone. The flood was a headache. It actually happened a second time! Figured out that the float switch for my ATO was stuck in the down position. I was told to clean it but it was worth it to me to spend $10 and buy a new one. Definitely cheaper than messing up the house and losing my livestock. I'm hoping to somehow connect multiple float switches to my Apex system for redundancy. If the first one fails the second one can cut it off? Just a thought for now as I'm not very tech savvy.

That is very easy to do. By the breakout box sold by Neptune and two float switches. It's two wires that's it. Simple codeing on the apex

Is it too late to tear out all of that foam/rock walls? That's a nice tank, stand and home. I'd get rid of that overflow and install an external overflow. Then, put in a nice minimalistic aquascape to leave room for fish to swim and corals to grow. Please don't kill the messenger. :D

U must b crazy lol. The rock wall is the best part about this build

Alright alright... I'm horrible at updating this thread. I always say that I am going to take nice pics with the camera, load them to the computer, and then complete the thread but as you can see....

What I can do is add some pictures and video that I have taken with my phone. Sorry to those who were following.

I have a fair amount of stuff in there but the growth could be much better. I have to start dosing as my Alk and Calcium are low.

I'm loading some of my earliest pics as a times line and the last should be the most recent. Maybe we'll see some kind of progression lol...

Bought someone's tank for the coral and it was full of red planaria. I had no clue mainly because I was a newb (still am).

Didn't know that this little guy was in a rock when I bought the coral. He went through throughly quarantine, flatworm exit, and a freshwater dip. Not to mention he went into a very young tank. Update to now... H is still alive!

So then this happened... Some stung the dragon soul favia. My guess was the Echinatas based on the angle. Had to sadly frag him up and sold the pieces off little by little.

Had a little hair algae problem and picked up this beautiful specimen.

The male clown started hosting in the trachy. Eventually the trachy wouldn't open up during the day and I had to move it to the frag tank. 10x better! I'm going to rearrange a little in the tank and move it back in on the other side. Hopefully they'll leave it alone.

I recognize 2 of those pictures. They almost look like my old frag tank ;). To be clear he didn't get the red planarian flat worms from me.

So this is what happens when you put two male Cardinal fish in. You feed the crabs.
