Probably, I have a few months to decide.. We wont be using it until we move. I was going back and forth over powder coating it at a shop, or just priming, painting, and sealing it myself.

I'm particularly fond of the outfit ... lol ... just messing with you.

I'm a fan of a clean look. Are you going to enclose the bottom?

Thank you! I am planning on enclosing the bottom with sheets of black acrylic and heavy duty magnets (easy to remove and clean) then I'll attach a sliding sheet to the front and back for access..

That's a neat idea. It certainly makes it easier to get sump/refugium in and out. Cool idea but my wife would never approve of the look. She loves the wood ... Insert lewd comment here ...

Very nice. I would consider powder coating it just to give it that little bit extra protection from the salt.

Just a question But is that Stand Made out of Aluminum??

I initially wanted aluminum or steel, however, I currently live in Italy and the builder recommended I go with a type of galvanized iron that is supposedly very resistant to marine corrosion. It's used primarily in coastal construction. I decided to trust their judgement and try it.
