I was told there might be a glass tank builder floating around here. Any truth to this? Having a hard time finding what I want.

Thx

His work is great, he built me a 100 gal rimless starphire tank a few months back. His tank building is on hiatus for the moment due to work shop restrictions. However, it doesn't hurt to ask :)

Funny how this question pops up every month or so. I know it can't happen but it'd be great to get a sticky on the RCMARS forum here so everyone can access it easily. From what I've seen Keith does great work.

I hope he's still building tanks.

Any of you guys know who's selling the 130g in Natomas on Craigslist?

is Kieth not building anymore? i lost his number and haven't seen him in a while. seems like there's a huge market for custom tanks in the nor-cal area and Kieth has a great reputation but i get the scene no one can ever get a hold of him. Kieth if you're listening, reveal your self..... we wanna give you our business! ;)

Well I took a leap of faith and ordered a tank through John at Your Aquarium!!!!

Went with a 48x24x20, glass, polished, euro braced, black silicone and corner overflow.

Hope it's what I'm envisioning, since there is no going back know!!!

Vizio I believe. Either way it will be a great tank! I have seen all of the others in his shop too many times, and they are nice! :spin2:
Good choice!

Don't know. Is that who he uses? I forget what he said. He mentioned a company with different divisions.

Anyone know?

Visio, that's was what he said. I believe that was the glass end of the business. Was named something else for the tank builders. Advance Aqua I believe.

I'm just worried about the overflow situation. I wanted a three drain setup to make sure it was quiet. John talked me into a smaller corner overflow with only a single 1 1/2" drain and 1" return. I hope I can make it quiet. I will have a lower flow system anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem, RIGHT????

Actually with more drains you usually get more noise from excess air getting sucked in. On that size tank a 1.5" drain is more then good enough. You only want to push 500-600 GPH through the sump.
