Cyanbacteria?

I have a 46 bow display and a 38 gallon refugium and 2 days ago I took out all my rock to clean off the bubble algea and catch and trade in 2 sulfer damsels and 2 yellow headed pink chromis. Now I have a few patches of cyanbacteria. How do I stop this stuff from growing? Thank You for your responses anbd Happy Reefing!:hmm3:

if its a new tank its normal, best way to stop it is lowering nutrients (don't over feed)

Anyone have any ideas other than adding a Phosban Reactor?

That or GFO seem to be the pretty standard answer. What did you have in mind?
