Cyano in Breeding Tanks

I have a 40B that houses my Melanopus clown pair and it has developed cyano. So, do I take the change of messing with their light cycle and do a 3 days out, leave it be, or treat with chemi-clean? The filter is a HOB CPR fuge with a massive amount of grape calurepa.

A friend of mine that's a breeder actually recommend me to leave the hair algae n cyano in the tank says is good for the water,hair algae helps clean the water up ,I mean they have to feed on something he says he only cleans the front of the glass .and he did mentioned cyano.

Is true... the more algae in the water, the more nutrients are absorbed. Just don't let the algae or cyano grow over itself or it will shade itself and die.
