Cycling With Live Sand

If we cycle or 29 gal. with just live sand and a few fish how long will it take?

Cycle with Live rock and live sand, skip the fish. The cycle time depends; and I dont think anyone could tell you how long it will take.

I'm not sure what you mean by cycling in this case, but I wouldn't expect live sand to be enough filtration to keep fish going in a tank. Do you have some sort of canister filter, etc, on the tank?
