Thanks for all of the kind words, everyone. Now that the month is over, I don't get to march around my house chanting R-O-T-M-R-O-T-M anymore. Not that I actually did that.
Cipro is an antibiotic that can be purchased from a few places online, but most obtain it via prescription. Some vets will prescribe it, but here in CA they are pretty strict (requiring a visit by the sick nem so the vet can physically examine it). I don't know if the Cipro available online and sold as fish medicine is has the same ingredients/potency as the one used for pets and humans. I opted for the prescription-based meds since it seemed like a safer bet.
