Well, about 100lbs of rock loaded with STUFF!
This batch just came out of the gulf on Wednesday!
And also a bunch of CUC.

Then the rest is mystery goodies that Richard from TBS throws in. :D

ok, here's a couple more of the sump area.
Still need to put some macro in the fuge and get my BRS reactor filled up and running.

Is it wrong that I love your sump and stare at it all the time in awe?
You really put a lot if thought and planning into configuring that sump/fuge.
And the entire area underneath your tank for that matter. All the nice gate valves, even the (smart) shelves on the door
Very impressive.
Lookin' forward to the updates.

Ok, here is just SOME of what showed up along with the second batch rock and cuc! :eek2:
What kind of fish is that? He hopped along the rocks and then found a hole.
Working on more pics of stuff out of the bags, in the tank...

A tour around the tank from the left, along the front, to the right.
I really need to re-think rock stacking/placement, but for now I just had to get it all in there!!!
Ignore the monti frag, that's from my old tank.

All the rock, sand, and cuc was "The Package" from Tampa Bay Saltwater and Richard through in all the sponges, orange star, gorgonians, anemone, scallops, fish, etc as extra goodies! You never know what you are gonna get!

Oh my...that is some gorgeous sponge :-O How many kinds are there?
And I LOVE your urchin.

And from the looks of it, soon we'll get great PHOTOS of them too!

*squee*

Looks fantastic. I have been reading up on "the package" and yours is proof positive that it's the way to go. My build budget just changed a bit......

Thanks for the thread.....great info.

Cool! Ya, i think the positives of this rock far out weight the negatives of any bad hitchhikers. Richard provides an instant turnkey reef with a quick cycle, and it's hard to beat his customer service.

Awesome tank, love the theme.
Thanks!
Fill me in on what "theme" it is, because at this point I'm just overwhelmed. :crazy1: :lmao:

I agree, clearly this is a Designers Sump in more ways than one!
D2, I'm a landscape designer and I knew you were in the design field as soon as I saw your stand. Visually flawless! In fact I love your stand so much Id love to see it get its own build thread!
Everything about this build says Professional.

On a side note, what would it take to get you to share a copy of your plans for that stand? I'm planning a 150 cube and I find myself obsessed with the aesthetics and functionality of your stand.

:eek1::eek1::eek1: GORGEOUS! :eek1::eek1::eek1:

I can't wait for more pics. I might to take a more serious look at TBS for LR, etc...

Keep up the good work!

Thanks! :)
I designed the look of the stand but I wasn't the builder. I had a local guy do it.

Looking forward to more pics! This tank is awesome.
Thank you!

Will probably take some pics tomorrow.
I drove out of town this morning and got back this evening and had to do a water change. Ammonia was spiking from some sponge die-off most likely. Might have to do another water change tomorrow.
I did do some re-aquascaping tonite though. I'm liking it better now. :)
