Thanks!Truly gorgeous
Ya the last one i have is the series of three showing my lighting stages.Dennis, can you please post a full front tank shot? I looked but didn't see a recent one in the thread.
Thanks.
Been following your thread and your tank is beautiful. Out of curiosity why don't you get a whole house generator installed for peace of mind. I had one installed 3 years back and can't be happier. It's an instant transfer of power for the entire house anytime the power goes. Runs on propane but you can get a diesel one too. I have had 2 instances of power loss between 3 and 6 hours and did not lose a beat. And since I don't currently have any vortechs in the display tank, I needed a battery backup solution.
Nice! I got this grill direct from China from an eBay seller.I've got the same car... I want that grill! Did you just buy the insert from the dealer and swap out, or is there modification needed? Also, what are front license plate laws in Texas? Here in California I could drive the car for about an hour before I'd get a fix-it ticket.

That's pretty cool. Pricey, but I'll have to keep this in mind.Hi Dennis,
This is what I use: http://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-AP...d=1429541605&sr=8-1&keywords=Tripplite+Aps750
It's basically an APS with a transfer switch but you use your own battery. I installed a 125AH deep cycle marine battery. I plugged my 30watt return pump plus a small tunze power head which should last a little under a couple of days. You can add as many batteries as you want.
Regards,
Joven
Audizine is really the only decent north american based audi forum these days. Thanks, I'll check that out. No chrome on my rig so I might just be able to acquire one stateside. Do you have any Audi forums or sites you recommend?
Thanks!just got caught up on your thread. Tank looks great Dennis and the photos are awesome as usual.
Yep, you're right and I've thought about that too.If you already have a gas genny then why not install a transfer switch to your panel? That would allow you to forego extension cords throughout the house and power up more essential items depending on your genny size.
IE I have a 8500 watt genny and I can run my fridges, hvac, tvs, fish tanks ect without issue. If I want to power up my hot water heater though I have to power down an item via the panel for a bit. Other then hot water and washing machines I can pretty much power my whole house. I just plug my portable unit into a transfer plug in the back of the house by my AC Compressor and wala power.
its uncanny that your daughter always seems to have lipstick on even though you have stated previously in the past that she doesnt.
I hope you have been budgeting for bats, guns, and a pig farm to take care of the boys later in life. I currently have 2/3 of that list and am looking for a pig farm with my daughter getting boys attention in preschool already.

So it does not include a battery inside it? How would my batter hook up to it?
I have the transfer switch with a 20KW gen so I can run the whole house without issues. It's real convenient and transfers seamlessly. Yes it did cost a few extra $$$ upfront but IMO worth the cost.If you already have a gas genny then why not install a transfer switch to your panel?
