I have 2 6100's and both of the alarms went off on the same day.. I took the first apart and noticed a serious calcium build up on the inner shaft where the magnet goes.... I used an awl and was able to scrape away all of the build up with no harm done at all...
I moved to the 2nd 6100 to notice the same build up, only this time when i went to scrape off the calcium build up the inner shaft was severly damaged.
Aside from buying a whole new 6100 for a few hundred dollars can anything be done to fix or replace this pump?
