Damsels

Has anyone sold or donated their unwanted damsels to a lfs? I have 3 that I need to let go because Im taking the tank down and they are the only fish left, so I cant take the tank down until there gone. They dont fight, but one likes to go after the other when I feed them. Does anyone know what store will take them?

Give Age of Aquariums in Long Beach a call. Most LFS will give you store credit for livestock, not much though.

1 yellowtail and the other 2 look like bluefin damsels but dont have the yellow on top. I can give them a good home maybe aquarium of the pacific

Aop is very picky of fish they get. Just make a thread that says free fish and the vultures will come.

Very picky? No, they just don't want it. They aren't in the business of taking on people's poorly planned pet purchases, otherwise they would have 3000 banded cat sharks. Anything you can get, they can get cheaper, faster, and in better condition.

Now, if you were offering them a prime fully grown Frondosa feeding off prepared foods, you might hear a different story...

Azure damsels really make the reef and don't bother any other tank mates. They have a very different temperament, much better than their similar looking blue w/yellow tail relative. If the OP was giving these away I would have jumped on them. I have 3 in my tank and really like them.

I just finally caught mine and my son had so much fun watching him swim in the toilet bowl right before is long journey to the pacific.haha

He just bailed about 30 mins ago,you should flush them now and they can all swim together.:lol2::lol2::thumbsup:
