So I finally got my water station set up and was planning on filing my tank tomorrow night. Too bad I didn't read the description on the Jebao dc 3000 and didn't realize it was submersible only. I was going to use it transfer water between the two jugs and mix the salt.

It will still work outside the water, they just recommend running then submerse to keep them cool and to keep them from burning up

Idk, it's brand new out of the box. When I re read the description on amazon it says it's submersible, nothing about inline.

They are notorious for leaking when used external.

For now I took my waveline dc6000 that is supposed to be my return pump and swapped it with the Jebao 3000.
