danskim's 300g rimless starphire

great aquascape Danskim more open space, less detritus, more flow, tons of swimming space = very large colonies :D

Thanks Bart! I just realized I still have the black background that I haven't applied yet... but I am kind of fond of the light bluish background the lights cast on the wall on the back.

Also I saw on your (invincible569) website about the German imitation background... very cool! I wish I could do something like that, but then I won't have any room behind the tank.

pretty sure you can make something happened. take me few days to figure something out, but i will get it eventually

Danskim, can you shoot a top-down shot for us? I'd love to see your scape from the top!

Sure, I'll get a shot after work today.

After my 150g gets sold... I'll be getting a new skimmer and selling my BM250.

I really like the ATB XL now... but I think it's too wide for my sump. (18" :()
I really wish there was like a 16" diameter one haha.

So it's either the ATB L (Or ATB XL external when it comes out), or a Bubble King 300 DeLuxe Internal.

Thoughts?

All are good choices.

If you want the XL, talk to Victor. I was talking to him about custom sizing a skimmer for me, and it was no upcharge.

BK Deluxe 300 is a monster. The BK SM line is coming out with a 300 version after Interzoo (May). It will have a standard pump pulling 3000 lph air, or you can upgrade the pump and get 4000 lph

And thanks for taking pics later, after work. I'll check em out, when I get off work. Are we the only 2 working on a Saturday? :)

Whoa.. did not know that. I was curious why the SM line stopped at 250. I'll also send Victor a message..

I'll probably wait a few months then.
Thanks for the info tbone!

Oh, and as you can see, the WavySea is back. I have to attach the 6100 to the holder then there should be good flow :)
