Thanks Scott I can only wish my tank can look good like how yours are just spectacular. .I can try to make the set up look good atleast with brown sticks..lolReally liking that scape buddy! you've done a fantastic job
Also loving all the thought that has gone into your design it's really coming together very nicely keep up the great work!
thank you very much Scott I am really glad you like it wish the end results will be as good as yours it will take some work for sure.I like the scape buddy, I think after it covers in coralline algae and coloured sticks it will look awesome. The over hangs are what does it for me I'm a big fan of them and also when people use a little imagination which you obviously have just by looking at it
thank you for subscribing fishy1 I am taking my time as well and I am enjoying every part of it..so enjoy your build..its the best part to me is seeing the build come together. .looking forward to your build..Hi Dan:wave:, your a popular guy around RC so I thought I'd pop in and say hi.
The tank is coming up a treat and the attention to detail is excellent, the scape is really nice and when it's covered in colorful sticks it will be awesome. I'm in the middle of setting up a new tank and I'm really enjoying taking my time and doing things right, but I'm constantly telling myself not to rush it just because I want water in it I have subscribed as I think this will be a spectacular tank when done.
thank you Scott ya I wanted to go 36 deep but will not work in the spot I need to put tank in so I did 30 deep love the space ..Looking great buddy! Love the scape and the depth of your tank
This setup is going to be awesome! Keep up the good work my friend
Thank you I am glad you like it...Love the aquascape!
the shelf is for the winch so I can move the fixture up and down with a button..and all the ballast for halide and also the wires will be up on the shelf also along with an eb4 ..the pully system is installed already just need the eb4 and it should be operational..Quick question: any reason you didn't hang the lights from the ceiling?
Thank you I hope so..I try to make it easier on me to take care of the tank just by pushing buttons ..Ah ok, really cool.
thank you my friend I was gonna go with a moving floating canopy but I figured it was cheaper for me to go this route and also cleaner look and I will be able to put the ballast on the shelf and they're hidden ..ya like I said my goal is to make life easier as much as possible ..all things I am doing now are the things I wish I had done on my previous build..ya you will like having an ease to raise you lights my friend for maintenance and for coral acclimation..can't wait to see what you do...I will be filling hopefully at the end of the month but if not its ok I still got a lot of things to add specially my control box that I need to finish. On probs Dan, I look forward to seeing your build progress.
The light rack looks really awesome, I'm going for a similar system in raising the lights but not as high tech as yours. Mines more of a manual system though. I like that sort of system as when you have to do stuff in the tank all you have to do is raise to lights and your away.
Its coming along very nicely Dan, when do you think there will be water in it?
