anyone ordered from petorama recently.....looks like ground shipping is free

It is the holidays and DAS / Pet-o-rama doesnt win any awards for speedy customer service in the first place. No surprise that they havent replied to you yet. But you are definitley being smart checking on stock before ordering. I wouldnt order without first getting a reply confirming stock, either. They will reply, eventually.

try msmid@petorama.net

They only responded to my emails when I had an actual issue. If I asked a general question, no response. When I had to change the shipping address(had wrong apartment #) and when my pump was faulty I was responded to quickly.

I have actually had good luck with them.

I doubt Orca will get it out to you an faster unless they have them in stock

DAS is out of the office and warehouse for two weeks. They always take 2 to 4 weeks off at XMas time

well...at least orca replied back....they dont have it in stock..also told me DAS i closed for a few more days......but good know someone is working.....

Hey should I get Das Ex-1 for my 75 gallon Tank. will sufficent for this ttank, that will be full sps? I just acquited 110 gallon from my club. When Sps are grown well then transfer to 110 for short term.

best bet to buy Das EX-1 or extreme 160?

Extreme 160 and ex-1 will perform about the same. I like recirc skimmer myself but if you set up your sump for a x160 it can work really well also.

Extreme 160 is a new skimmer design and the EX-1 is a proven design. Maybe wait for some reviews on the new skimmer to see how well it wil perform.

Well, I miscalculated my stand height and i cant fit the DAS BX-2 skimmer in the stand :( going to have sell this skimmer and get a shorter one :(

Like new , would like to get around 350.00 OBO

i am using sch 40 in the output, reason the day i set it up the i could not find the sch 80 output pipe that came with it.

Are you selling the one pictured because that is not a DAS BX-2 it's an EX-2. I'll trade you for a Deltec MCE600 10 months old.

Sorry guys, as DiazE pointed out , it's a EX-2 .

Thanks for the offer, but I'm not interested in a MCE600

No problem, but if the misses didn't have my SW budget on lock down I would have Paypaled you for it right now!

Good luck; you should sell it fast!

Just curious, how tall is the skimmer and what size tank were you going to use it on?
