Hey Atomikk,

I got my Pearl Berry and a number of other ORA frags from a reputable source and I'm positive of there identity.

As far as their "species" I really couldn't say, that's not something that I'm very well versed in. I'm a hobbyist and enthusiast at heart and don't quite have the more analytical side of it down, lol! I just get what I like and that looks good to me... some of which is "name brand" or "designer" and some that's not and just looks good or has potential. Nothing's more fun than watching an ugly duckling turn into a beautiful swan.

As far as what you have pictured the one on the bottom "looks" like it might be Aqua Delight or a Micro Laudes (not sure of spelling, sorry) and the one on top "could be" a Pearl Berry but again I'm no expert.

Naso's looking better

Well, I was able to snap a few shots of my baby Naso today. He's still showing some signs of stress/ich but is improving daily. His colors are really starting to come through and he looks like he's settling in nicely.

If you notice his tail it appears that his razor spines were removed and I believe between that and being in new surroundings it really stressed him out, poor guy. I like him though!

kvmn- Thanks, but I don't have a QT set up at all. The place where I got my Butterfly and most of my other fish from QT's all livestock for a minimum of 2 weeks and sometimes more depending. All of their fish are treated for parasites and other ailments and are all eating a mix of frozen, flake and other prepared foods before they're ever made available to the public.

As for the Alpha, I modded my 59mm nozzle to 47mm and installed it some time ago. I just got the freebie 47mm nozzle from Jeremy but didn't bother to switch it out yet. I may do so later but I'm happy with it for now.

I am interested to try the new one Jeremy sent though cause he says in the Alpha owners thread that the new nozzle is actually larger in diameter and allows more water and air to pass through.

Nice shots Dave, your corals have great PE, looks like they are happy. Does that gadget's look kinda like a Pink Lemonade or are the polyps purple? Nice piece.

The polyps of the Gadgets are more purple to blue in person. They were more blue in my old tank but with different lighting and running Zeo, they appear more purple/blue in the current set up.

It doesn't look like PL in person at all... I actually got a piece from Steve last month and they look very different.

What color is the skin? BTW the lineage of the Pink Lemonade you got is Hugo>Jose Casas>Me>Steve, in case you like to know those things.

The skin is a light creme to yellow color on the Gadgets acro, polyps are purple/blue.... One of my favorite pieces. I've got a Raspberry Lemonade from him also that's in recovery mode right now. It ought to be a real looker when it finally colors back up.

And thanks for the heads up on the PL yes, I'm interested and it's doing well by the way. Is it a Tyree PL? Not that it matters, just curious???

New Fish Alert!

Picked up a couple of wrasses today here today at one of my LFS's. Great prices too!

I wanted to include a couple pics but once acclimated and introduced to the tank they went straight into hiding. :hmm2:

I'll snap some shots later but for those of you curious which ones I got they are...

1.) Cirrhilabrus solorensis (Redheaded Fairy Wrasse)

2.) Paracheilinus mccoskeri (McCosker's Wrasse)

Both look good and healthy... just bummed they're hiding.

No, I don't have netting but I do have some panels around the tank that give the fish the "feeling" of being enclosed....

I'll try to get you a picture of what I mean later.

Ok... picked up another Wrasse today, a Carpenter's Flasher.

Also, got a good deal on Laboutei Wrasse that I'm picking up tomorrow!
