Dawn's seahorse tank

Is that a pile of Codium on the left? Haven't seen that in years!!!
Yes, it is. I got it originally from Reef Gallery in Zeli. It has done quite well in the seahorse tank and is always fuzzy because it is growing. If you ever want any just let me know and I will get you some.

Last night Dave took me to Wet Pets(for my birthday) to pick Captive Bred fish for the seahorse tank. I came home with a pair (I hope) of mandarin gobies, a yellow watchman goby and a pajama cardinal fish. They spent the night in QT but they seemed really stressed, (maybe too many fish in a 10 gallon) so I put them in the display against my better judgement. I hope that was not foolish.

I will miss the club meeting tonight because we are celebrating an aunt and my b-days tonight.

Good luck- its always tough to add fish - I have lost more in QT than have made it. Hopefully they do not have any parasite or disease that will damage the tank. Wet pets have a super UV system- so hopefully it is not Flukes,Velvet, or Ick, and its is just the stress of being caught, transported, new tank, etc.

At least they are not going into a hostile enviroment. Nothing other than nebby seahorses. All 4 fish look relaxed.

The yellow watchman is eating well. The pair of mandys are inseparable and hunt together. I have not seen them eat any frozen or prepared food however and the female is skinny. I set up the baby brine shrimp hatchery. The pajama cardinal looks great but I haven't seen it eat yet.
